A Territory to discover …
Strategic is the best adjective to define the place where stands the Hotel Caffè Centrale.
We are in Mezzocorona, in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana Königsberg, among the most famous wine-growing areas of the region, the home of Teroldego Rotaliano, the prince of Trentino wines, in the place that Cesare Battisti described as: “The most beautiful vineyard in Europe“, definition that still has it’s charm/good vibe.
The charm of an unique place
We are in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige / Südtirol. A few kilometers there is Trento with it’s story to tell, with it’s museums and castles.
Trip that only takes 30 minutes, you’ll reach to Bolzano, a city full of charm and attractions, place where you can breathe a pleasant mix of Central European climate and Mediterranean culture.
If you love the snow, in 15 minutes you will be on the famous slopes of Andalo.
If you want to downhill in Fai, (10 km from the Hotel), there is the Park.
Or would you prefer lake? Nearby, you find the largest lake in Italy: Riva del Garda, with its small (decks?) and sailing boats, windsurfing and kiting.
Take a deep breath of history, culture and nature…
The bike path, which runs from Mezzocorona throughout the region, will lead you to enchanting places like the lakes of Molveno, Caldaro, Monticolo and Tovel, all within a few kilometers from the hotel.
Above the Mezzocorona, the namesake mountain, is reachable on foot or by cable car.
These places of calm and relaxation allow you to find and immerse yourself in to the wilderness. A little further down, in a “cave”, it is Castel San Gottardo, a very special and evocative medieval building.
At the foot of the mountain stands Castel Firmian, dating back to the ‘400 and dwells homonymous dynasty.
To frame it all, are the Dolomites the World Heritage Site.
